Journalists will take their place with other authors Saturday in downtown Santa Rosa at the 12th annual Sonoma County Book Festival.

Historian and Press Democrat columnist Gaye LeBaron will speak about writing local history at 10 a.m. at Corrick’s, 637 Fourth St.

Bay Area television journalist Belva Davis will appear at 12:45 p.m. at the Central Library’s Forum Room, 211 E St.

West county journalist and longtime colleague Susan Swartz will have an adaption of her book “Juicy Tomatoes,” performed by playwright Mollie Boice at 2:15 p.m. at the Main Stage in Old Courthouse Square.

UPDATE: Another former colleague, Chris Coursey, will moderate the panel: “The Sky is High and So Am I: Alternative Subjects”, 1 pm at the La Rosa Restaurant (formerly the Cantina). (see comment below, Thanks, Penny.)

And I will be reading works with other journalists from 11:30 a.m. to noon at the Redwood Writers Reading Circle in the square. I’ll also be selling copies of my new fantasy Novel “Horse Stalker” from 10 a.m. to noon at one of the Redwood Writers booths.

If you’re there, please stop by and say “hello.”
