YA fantasy author Tamora Pierce will appear at 7 p.m. Thursday Oct. 27 at the Sebastopol Copperfield’s Books.
Pierce, whose work spans three decades, is on tour for her new book, “Mastiff,” part of the Beka Cooper Series.
Here is a brief list of other authors coming to Sonoma County Copperfield’s stores:
- Melissa de la Cruz, YA author of the “Blue Bloods” series, will make a double appearance Friday Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. at the Petaluma store and 7 p.m. at the Sebastopol store. The Blue Bloods are vampires and the author’s latest book, “Lost in Time,” has its heroine traveling to Egypt.
- PIZZA!!!! Authors Stephanie Perkins and Maureen Johnson will attend a pizza party at the Petaluma Copperfields at 7 p.m. Monday Oct. 3. Johnson wrote “The Name of the Star,” a supernatural thriller set in London. And Perkins wrote the romance “Lola and the Boy Next Door.”
- James Dashner, author of “The Death Cure,” part of the “Maze Runner Trilogy,” will appear at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Petaluma Copperfield’s.
- Laini Taylor, author of “Daughter of Smoke and Bone,” first in a new angelic fantasy trilogy, will appear at 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 28 at the Petaluma Copperfield’s.
