A SCHEMING KILLER –

A REPORTER IN THE CROSSHAIRS

Corpses in town squares.
A killer bent on terror.
A reporter about to become
part of the story.

“Sonoma Squares Murder Mystery” kicks off Monday April 23 here at Digitale Stories. We’ve gathered a great team of writers from inside and outside The Press Democrat to tell this thriller: Columnist Chris Coursey, BiteClub’s Heather Irwin, Editorial Page Director Paul Gullixson and SantaRosaMom’s Crissi Dillon, plus staff writers Meg McConahey, Jeremy Hay, Randi Rossmann, Martin Espinoza and Robert Digitale; and last but not least, copy editor Heather Chavez. Some talented local authors round out the crew.

In all, 16 writers are contributing 16 short chapters that will run on this blog. See the authors and their chapter titles here. It’s something to behold.

On that page, please notice that we’ve left one chapter up for grabs. Yes, we’re going to let any reader submit for possible publication their version of Chapter 13, “Death Watch.” Look Thursday for details on how to join the adventure.

Chapter 1, “Red Muumuu,” by Dean A. Anderson, will be posted here Monday April 23.
