A SCHEMING KILLER –
A REPORTER IN THE CROSSHAIRS

Sixteen chapters.
Sixteen writers.
One thriller.

You’ve read its chapters in the newspaper. You’ve perused them online. Now you can have your own ebook version of the “Sonoma Squares Murder Mystery.”

The serial, produced by 16 local writers, is available online at both Amazon and Smashwords.

Fire up your Kindle, iPad or smart phone and read all about newspaper reporter Sandra Cordero and the serial killer who contacts her. Sandra, her best friend Abby and Sheriff’s Detective Zach Brown are all trying to figure out the strange clues the killer is providing via cell phone texts, including his first message: “I pray sic.”

The town squares of Healdsburg, Sonoma, Windsor and other Sonoma County locales serve as the backdrop for the story.

“Sonoma Squares” first appeared here at Digitale Stories in April and began print publication in The Press Democrat in late May.

The Press Democrat writers who took part include Bite Club’s Heather Irwin, Editorial Director Paul Gullixson, columnist/blogger Chris Coursey, Santa Rosa Mom’s blogger Crissi Dillon, copy editor Heather Chavez and staff writers Randi Rossmann, Jeremy Hay, Meg McConahey, Martin Espinoza and Robert Digitale.

Rounding out the team are local authors Linda C. McCabe, Charles Markee, Ana Manwaring, Dean A. Anderson and Frederick Weisel. Finally, our guest writer, whose chapter was selected from those submitted by readers, is Santa Rosa attorney, John Hendrickson.

You can get a free ebook version in various formats here at Smashwords.

The Amazon Kindle version is available here for 99 cents.
