Short stories, a graphic novel, local history, fantasy and literary fiction. And food.

On Tuesday May 28 I’ll be joining four other local authors for a dinner and reading at Redwood Cafe in Cotati.

It’s a chance for readers to dine with writers and to hear different voices sharing their work.

The evening will feature Daniel Coshnear, author of the short story collection “Occupy and Other Love Stories;” John McCarty, author of the novel “Memories That Linger;” Evelyn McClure, author of “Beneath The Mountain of The Burning Bird, Bennett Valley History & Memories;” and Alexis E. Fajardo, author of the graphic novel Kid Beowulf and the Rise of El Cid.” As well, I’ll be reading from my fantasy novel, “Horse Stalker.”

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the cafe, 8240 Old Redwood Highway.
