YA Video/Short Thriller: “Ivan Krakov 2”
Bjorn Krakov goes to America to save his imprisoned big brother in the short thriller "Ivan Krakov 2." It stars Will Smith, Cody Trimble, Scott Reynolds and Daniel Schroeder. These first-year video students from Healdsburg High came up with the concept, wrote the script, filmed the action and edited the video.
YA Video: Opinions on Gay Marriage
Healdsburg High’s Dexter Dacanay produced this video asking students their opinions on gay marriage. Dexter has been a student for three years in John Chevalier ROP multimedia class. Outside of class, he says, “I like to spend time reading up on current political and world affairs. But I also enjoy spending time with close companions.”

Healdsburg High's Colton Hoaglund wants to go on to film school and become a director, cinematographer, and writer. He also likes history and rooting for the San Jose Sharks.
YA Video: Cisco Networking Academy
Healdsburg High's Dexter Dacanay produced this video about the school's Cisco Networking classes to prepare students for work in (IT) Information Technology. The classes are made possible through Sonoma County's ROP career development program.
YA Video: Maria Carrillo football
Maria Carrillo High senior Mark Winterlin created an action-packed look at his school's football team. Mark said he'd like to go to college at CSU Long Beach or CSU Northridge "because they have excellent film programs there." His ideal job? "I want to work in Hollywood someday working on films and movies there. I don’t know what I would like to do on the set of a movie yet, but I know I love the whole process of making films, from the story to production to editing and finalization."
